Finally, new news has surfaced! After so long without any significant X/Y information, we have our first major reveal ever since the new Mewtwo Form (will post that later), Sylveon and the official announcement of the games themselves. So, here we go with my version of this month's CoroCoro leak:
On May 11th, 2013, the June 2013 issue of CoroCoro leaked, revealing new information on the game and some new Pokémon as well. For new Pokémon were revealed, one by the name of Yanchamu, the Mischievous Pokémon, which is a Fighting-type and learns a new move called Parting Remark. This Pokémon is similar to a panda, and may as well be the "Riolu/Lucario" of the region itself. Another new Pokémon goes by the name of Yayakoma, and is known as the "Robin" Pokémon. It is a Normal/Flying-type, and is popular amongst trainers also. Surprisingly, it can also learn Fire Charge. This type of bug-ish Pokémon goes by the name of Electel (in Japanese, Erekiteru) and is known as the Generator Pokémon. It is unknown at his point in time if it has a secondary time, but is confirmed to be an Electric type, and could be the "Klink or Joltk" of the 6th Generation. It knows a new move called Parabora Charge, and when damaging Pokémon it restores its own HP, much like Grass-type attacks such as Absorb, or Mega Drain. The final new Pokémon is confirmed to be called Gogoat (Gōgōto in Japanese) and is the "Ride" Pokémon, on which you can actually ride on! This is a Grass-type Pokémon and can be ridden in one of the main towns in the game, Miare City. This Pokémon knows Horn Leech, and is a very gentle Pokémon, also. The new Pokedex and the Boxarts for the game have been released and confirmed, along with the official entries for Chespin, Fennekin and Froakie. Chespin is the "Shelled Chestnut" Pokémon, Fennekin is the "Fox" Pokémon, and Froakie is the "Foam Frog" Pokémon, with as of now still unconfirmed Pokedex number entries, and official types also (secondary types, if any.) As previously speculated, the trainer character can be customized minorly, such as skin tone and hair color, but possibly more mechanics like this will be further expanded in the future, or in the remaining tidbits of this leak. And finally, the most important piece of information-- the region name. The region is indeed based off of France, and is known as the "Kalos" Region, which does draw a huge inspiration from France. More info to come as it leaks.

Hey bobby! I can't wait for Pokémon X-Y!
ReplyDeleteI got about 5 questions.
1. Do you "summarize" info from reading Japanese you already know to "decip0her" the language to tell us?
2. Why did they post for 2 months?
3. Will there be any new trainers?
4. What is the "progress" on the mew Mewtwo form?
5. Speaking of MewTwo, does Mew evolve from him/her to Mewtwo?
That's all. Bye!

Imanol! Welcome Back! You have some great questions, and I have some great answers!
Delete1. Actually, no. I read the information from one of 4 sites: Serebii, Pokebeach, Bulbapedia or Pokejungle (Pokémon websites) and I take their information, paraphrase it and also claim the pictures to make my followers have a visual also.
2. They didn't. CoroCoro is always named for the month ahead, making this the May/June issue because this information is released at the borderline between May and June. That's my version of it, but I don't exactly know why.
3. Obviously there will be new trainers, and if you can tell by the scan with the boy and the girl, those are the playable characters for X and Y, and the one at the bottom (guy with greenish hair) may be a new trainer/your rival!
4. No new progress, but it is confirmed that it is Awakened Mewtwo (the forme)
5. Just like Manaphy and Phione, Mewtwo and Mew are a duo, and Mew does not evolve into Mewtwo, but it is unknown if Mewtwo evolves into this new Mewtwo Forme. This forme, I believe, will be created by fusing the DNA of Mew and Mewtwo, but that's my theory!
Thanks! Bobby
Hey bobby, I've heard some news and whatnot on the Nintendo E3 conference and everything, and they ended up saying that multiple pokemon may be ridden on different terrains such as ryhorn on rocky areas, and also that we may be able to stylize our clothing and hair! Also, the normal bird that you are reffering to, fletchling, will have an evolution (i forgot the name) and its a fire bird! (my information came from serebii.net)
